I have the C licence, rigid lorry, and live in Northern Ireland now and have been quoted 125 sterling to get a medical report for renewing my licence, thought this was expensive, whats it in the South

Just did my own medical for my D license last week and it was €55 through my local GP.

£125stg sounds fairly rich. Is it done by your local GP or do you have to attend a designated specialist medical centre?

After a quick google, it looks like a NHS GP won't give you a medical for driving licence. So you need a private GP to do it, so they can charge pretty much whatever they want. Dunno where you are, but this crowd in Belfast will do it for £48.
