Based on breeding and a decent performance last time out, surely Hot Hannah is worth a small bet at 4/1 in the opener at Musselburgh? Looking through the competition and even the initial betting, I don't see anything that'll beat it.

2:50 Curragh - He's not getting any younger, but when Gordon Lord Byron steps down in class, it's hard not to take notice. Horse just died when ran over an unsuitable trip of a mile last time out at Leopardstown. Think the trip tomorrow should be more suitable, so hopefully it overturns Flight Risk and puts the other mediocre looking front-runners in the early betting to bed. 15/2 best price.

Moore at it again in the opener, a small enough field and he gets trapped in on the rails again and then dramatically switches out to run on with the winner having flown. Doubtful he'd have won, but the horse lost its chance to get first run on the winner.

Bluesbreaker at 20/1 ew looks a great bet in the 4.30. Well drawn (better ground on stands side when it's soft at the Curragh), improving, will be suited coming back down to 5f and loves heavy ground. Good trainer too who's going places.

Also giving Lady Mega a chance in the next at the Curragh ew at 28/1. Small horse that may not want it this heavy but she ran really well on soft ground behind Due Diligence a couple of years ago and has a nice light weight on her back which should make things easier with Orr taking off a very valuable 5lbs. She was poorly placed last time when making her return from a break so should step forward from that and her early season form is very good. which included a 4th in a Listed race at Naas when she was a bit of an eye catcher travelling through the race with ease. Always a good idea to side with Lynam horses in these sprints and she also has a good draw.
