I'm not necessarily in the market just yet but would just like some input please.  I picked up a Sony TV from you guys back in 2012 from one of your London stores.  I think the model is the KDL-46HX853 its the weird one that sits at an angle.

It had reviewed very well at the time and I am still very happy with it.

I am just wondering then 4 years on what would be considered an upgrade to this.  Size is still reasonable though I could go up to 55.  What should I be looking for? 4k and HDR?  Budget say £1000-1500

    Thanks,

    Woden

Hi Woden, thanks for the post

For a 55" in  and around £1000-£1500, you'd be starting with the likes of the Sony 55xd8599 - http://www.richerie.aspdotnetstorefront.cefasoft.net/p-201902-bravia-kd55xd8599.aspx at £1149 - a 4k 55" with highrefresh rate, android TV
At the other end of the range, there is the LG 55UH950 - http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202065-lg-55uh950v-soc.aspx at £1499 - LG have really stepped up to the game the last couple of years and their higher end TVs are right up with the best, so this one is well worth looking at

    Cheers
