I just got this router to replace the F2000 on FTTH but after setting it up it has a annoying fault that I cant fix. I have a few items connected by wires and some by wireless on home network and this router drops the connection at intervals of about 30 minutes. I have checked everything, software is up to date, etc etc. did a few reboots but no joy. And this is the first time I have had a router behave in such a fashion. I have set it to vlan 10 and it then connects automatically. Speed was ok initially but now it has halved. I have gone back to the F2000 and no problems. I like the interface on netgear.

Has anyone got this piece of kit and is there a fix as I cant find anything.

    Its going back unless...

Not sure tbh, could be a faulty router too. I had a similar issue with a c7 and it was solved with a firmware update. Have the C9 now and it's rock solid. Anything over AC1900 is just an elaborate way of parting you with your hard earned at the moment.
