    Hi All,

I know this has been asked before but I didn't want to drag up an old thread.

We are ordering windows for kitchen area soon (roof lights) and are finding it difficult to weigh up the above options. Between Keylite, Fakro and Velux, there is quite a price difference but for the space we are putting them in, we would like the smartest option thermally and for airtightness purposes as there is a lot of glazing in the kitchen overall. There is also the option of putting in a fixed, un-opening panel of glass if that would be a better option?

Would love any comments, experience or advice!

    Thank you.

The fixed rooflight will always look more impressive but will be far more expensive. With regards the off of the shelf windows, the lads fitting them seam to all think the velux are the best
