Hi, I just got called for interview next week , I think competency style questions would be "how have u dealt with a colleague u clashed with or describe time u had project/ task to complete and u where behind schedule , what would u do.
A lot questions be based around stage 1 multiple choice questions we had.
Does anyone know clerical officier pay, I've worked in private sector past 15 years ,

Payscale would have been on advertisement...I think it's around 22-37k. (after about 17 years)
Don't forget in competency interview setting..you need a lot of examples of how you completed a task..why you did .. and end result..and preferably what you learned...and Lloyd questions answered should be maneuvered to a stage where you answer via one of your examples..
eg if you're asked what you think of something..give your answer and then qualify it with one of your examples...remember you only get marked for examples of your competency..anything else is waffle...

Seems a bit formulaic. Robotic even.

Interviews are about determining an applicant's character combined with relevant experience. Not necessarily identifying the applicant most proficient at providing learned examples for specific situations.
