    Is mortgage protection insurance a legitimate expense for rental tax return?

    Yes, Mortgage protection policy premiums are tax deductible.

    There is a revenue fact sheet outlining same if you google "mortgage protection tax deductible".

    Tried attaching here but not sure if it'll work.
