Hi folks, can you recommend to me please a previewing lice treatment I can use on cattle I will be finishing in December?
I have injected them with an ivermectin injectable so I have all that covered. The lice treatment is solely for lice.

I'm not sure of the withdrawal on any of them but would it be worth shaving their backs and use lime in their shed ? I think shaving a few strips definitely works for us in the shed anyhow

We always use Ectospec pour-on for lice and flies, it has a 10 day meat withdrawal and no milk withdrawal.

Does the ivermectin injectable not cover lice. Are the cattle scratching or showing signs of lice.

Think ivermectin injection covers sucking but not biting lice. Could often get away fine without using pour on - but don't think the pour on expensive so if in doubt I'd use it
