Fairway markers luttrelstown

    Played luttrellstown yesterday.

    On the fairways, apart from 200,150,100 markers there were also different markers.

    Blue circles, yellow triangles and red squares.

    Never seen them before. What are they for?

    Probably a pro-am.
    The pros require yardages to the front of the green. If the distance markers are to the centre of the green or in metres then clubs would usually put in temp markers for the pros

    Played it yesterday myself. Didn't notice the markers as i use a GPS but what i did notice were the pin positions. Tough to say the least. 18th pin was ridiculously placed.

    Agree on the pins. Though 18 was the first i got anywhere near the pin for a birdie putt.

    Was a comp ahead of us so pro am markers make sense.

    Group ahead of us where where the last group of the comp and infuriatingly slow. They didnt tee off until the group ahead had putted out.
