Know very little about the nuts and bolts of these things, but 1 gig of ram would be too little. 2 gig minimum.

Yes, they will work anywhere. Have a look at https://www.mediatec.ie/. They are based in Navan and will deliver in 2 days.

Those products are way overpriced, the MXIII G Box can be bought from £50 off Amazon with no trouble returning under warranty.
The M8S+ that mediatec sell for €99, I bought from Wish for €42.

The best by a long wah is the Nexus Player from Google. It has never locked up or failed since the day I got it. I'm not sure they make them anymore but if you can find one somewhere then get it.

I have had loads of those Chinese things and in time they all failed, locked up etc and are very unreliable. I wouldn't waste the money on them again if I were you.

100% Long time Android box user. Have had a range of different boxes over the years and the Minix X8 is the very best I've ever had. Top specs and top quality build plus super antenna if you're going to be streaming over Wi-Fi. I've two of them and haven't had a problem with either. Solid as a rock and great when paired with a wireless keyboard - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-QWERTY-Layout/dp/B00XJ3LVPI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1474621289&sr=8-3&keywords=logitech+keyboard

Hi sorry I can't help, none of the above is allowed to be linked here or discussed.Unless the rules have changed........this thread will either be snipped or closed by Mods.

I will say this again, google it.....There are endless forums, youtube videos all related to your needs.

The App file for Android is an APK File(Android Application Package) .

These are generally downloaded from the likes of Google Play Store,in this case though.....you are side loading a seperate APK.

So you just download the APK and install on your Device through the built in File Manager or one from the Play Store like es file explorer.

You just open the File Manager and navigate to where you downloaded the APK and click on it and select install. That's as far as I can explain for general APK's.
