69 year old mother wants to get Health Insurance

My 69 year old mother wants me to look into health insurance for her. It will be her first time taking out a policy, so will this new lifetime community rating mean she will pay a fortune? She is healthy and doesn't have any existing conditions bar taking tablets for cholesterol. I have my own VHI policy - is it possible…

I have my own VHI policy - is it possible to add a parent to that, or would she be better off taking out her own policy with VHI/Laya etc?

Zero benefit her being on a policy with you. She still needs to serve waiting periods.
