Possible grave found in Killen.

Just seen the news that a possible shallow grave has been found in Killen, very near to where Arlene Arkinson went missing.
The farmer who found an area of disturbed earth that led police to begin a new search for missing teenager Arlene Arkinson said it had the appearance of a grave.
The 15-year-old from Castlederg, County Tyrone, disappeared after a school disco in 1994.
Police have cordoned off an area near Killen, outside Castlederg, close to where she was last seen alive.
Farmer Noel Doherty said clay had been dug up and refilled with stones.
The field is on the same road where Arlene Arkinson was seen in a car with the convicted child killer and rapist Robert Howard, the main suspect in her disappearance.
Robert Howard, who died in prison in England last year, was found not guilty in 2005 of murdering Arlene Arkinson.

A timeline for those unfamiliar with this case.

Seeing the police organise planned hunts across bogs always just, it is sad as you sometimes feel these families will never get closure.

Sounds cruel or morbid saying so, but I hope this is someones missing loved one so that they can get closure and a proper burial.

Sadly this has been a false alarm
A fresh search for the remains of the missing schoolgirl Arlene Arkinson has ended and "nothing suspicious" has been found, police have said.

Sad that it was a false alarm, but a little part of me hopes that she may be still alive. Faint hope I know.

There is no harm in keeping hope alive, even if you hold many thoughts on outcomes.

Hopefully she may turn up one day, be it alive or passed, is another matter. :(
