HTC One Mini keypad

    I have a HTC One Mini. Its a good phone but two days ago I installed a 32g SD Card, because the memory on my phone was full. I don't know if it is a coincidence or not, but right now I cannot access a keypad for anything, texts, storing names, WhatsApp, nothing! Everything is voice activated, with a microphone appearing on the window instead of a keypad. I have tried everything I know with no success. Can anyone help?
    I did remove the SD card, but that made no difference.

    Try installing a different keyboard like Google's one to see if you can use that one.

    Thank you. That actually worked. Its a bit different to the original keyboard, but perfectly ok. Why would that have happened though? Is it a virus or some other infection?
