Internships and social Welfare

    Hi,
I graduated from college 3 months ago and just got offered an internship in the area I hope to pursue. I have a part time job at the moment but if I take the internship I will have to give up the job.

I have been looking at the requirements for Jobs-bridge and in order to be eligible you need to be unemployed for 3 months. I was just wondering if there is any other Financial aid I may be entitled too? If I was to take this internship I would be making no money and have to pay for travel etc.

    Thanks for any help.

The only advice I can give is.

Tough times don't last but tough people do. Keep your head up and always want to be better than what you are

If you're not available for work then there is no social welfare available to you.

No you don't qualify. It's tough, but that's the way it works. Perhaps try and negotiate a small pay package?
