Air-tight letterbox for a sealed house?

I am doing up a house which will be air tight and with heat recovery etc.
I want my post delivered into the house, old-style, but I can't find any source for a postbox that is air-tight enough.
The idea is simple enough - the post is put in from the outside and collected inside, through some airtight system. It can't be complicated technically.
Any leads welcome or if anyone did a DIY version of this

Is there some specific reason why a wall mounted mail box isn't an option?

You can get nice looking ones which are very secure..

I don't think you should be looking at compromising your front door.

'Is there some specific reason why a wall mounted mail box isn't an option' - as is said, I want the post delivered into the house, old-style. The house is being future-proofed for old age etc and having to go outside every day to check the post with a walking aid or in an electric wheelchair one can do without.

'I don't think you should be looking at compromising your front door.' - I want to build it into the wall, through the cavity. Something like An-Post's Delivery box, but with a slot going through the cavity and an air-tight door/hatch on the inside.

As I said, I'm looking for sources or, any DIY example.

You could buy a box that is IP65 or NEMA-4 waterproofed and put it inside the house, and cut a letterbox in the back of the box.

The door is designed to be watertight or near-watertight so it should be pretty air-tight.

Something like this (you should be able to get something similar from an electrical wholesaler in Ireland).

The issue i would see is getting something that is convenient to open.

Another thing you could do is make a box and use a PVC window, with the glass replaced with a sheet of plastic (or have glass, so you can see if there's any mail in there)
