Sky dish

    I putting up a Sky dish does anyone have any idea what freq I put it at any help please ,is it Astra two am I wrong

    Yeah, assuming you're looking for Sky's package, or just free UK channels, it's the Astra 2 satellites at 28 degrees east.

    If you don't have a satellite finder the easiest way would be bring the box to a friends house with working dish, get them to tune it and then bring box back to use on your dish by moving dish until channels become clear.

    This site here is good to show where a dish should be pointed from your house to receive channels...

    It's just so much easier when you know the tuner is properly tuned in. Otherwise it can be chicken and egg , most boxes won't give you a % signal strength unless it's already auto-detected the settings that transponder uses.
