    Hi all,

I have been working self employed for the past 4years and I have just accepted a PAYE job starting in two weeks I'm just looking to find out what way my PAYE wages will be calculated and will I receive the PAYE tax credit for 2016.

    Thanks in advance

Contact revenue and transfer your tax credits to the new company. Get their tax registration number from them. Yip, you'll get the PAYE tax credit.

Depends on the total self employed income you earn as to what form, but you'll need to file a tax return at the end of the year.

Might be worth figuring out your SE tax liability for preliminary tax now and getting that rolled into your tax credit cert to spread the tax out til December rather than the pay&file deadline
