Cork City - Glenbower Wood

    Hello,
Is there a way to go to Glenbower Wood from Cork City without a car?
    I live near Parnell Place.

I had a look at the website getthere(dot)ie/cork-killeagh
I noticed there is a bus that departs from Cork and in 40 mins it arrives to Killeagh. I think that Glenbower Wood is just 2-min walk from the bus stop, right?

So, how should I book the ticket?
Should I go to Parnell Place or somewhere else?!

    Thank you,
    loveireland94

Bus every hour or so from the bus station. You can buy tickets there or on the bus as you board. The woods is a few mins walk from the main street in Killeagh. Up behind the Old Thatch pub.

    Hello namloc1980,
    Thank you for replying.

So, I should go to the Parnell Place bus station and book a ticket with destination Killeagh, right?
It should be just a 40-min journey, if I am not wrong.

    Thank you,

Yeah. Get a ticket to Killeagh at the ticket machines. Bus stops outside O Mahonys pub. About a five minute walk to the woods proper. If you are planning on going do it in the next few days. Major road works planned for Killeagh which will mean traffic mayhem.

    Hello mordeith,
Thank you for your clear answer.

Actually, I am not going in the next few days. We are talking weeks, not days.

How much does a ticket cost, more or less?

    Thank you,
    loveireland94

Okay, that is not so difficult to do, sure.
