US eBay GSP customs charges using PM, PW or AP

I've asked this on the DPD Parcel Wizard thread and called An Post but DPD didn't respond and An Post didn't have a clue. I'm looking to buy the below ebay listed item.

Its using GSP to get to the EU but if I select my UK addresses from PM, PW or AP the customs prices shows as nothing to pay. If I select my Republic of Ireland address its $18.61 extra. Anyone know if its possible to use the NI/UK addresses to avoid this extra charge or will I get hit? Cheers.

In theory you can but if the package turns up to Parcel Motel with customs charges they'll automatically refuse it.

Thanks for the reply. Am I right in thinking eBay GSP includes all customs/taxes charges due, in this case zero to the UK but Irish customs could still stop it and add the Irish applicable rates on top irrespective?

My tiny brain is wondering if they see a GSP pre-paid to the UK they might ignore it but then they've probably seen this trick a thousand times before.

Customs should be due irregardless of where it lands. I mean the eBay page should have terms and conditions; some websites guarantee you won't have charges and others refuse culpability.
