    hi

If I am Irish resident will I be required to pay Irish Inheritance tax if I am left money from my family who reside in a jurisdiction which has a zero rate of inheritance tax/ capital gains tax?

I am due to Inherit from both my father (think amount will be under threshold so shouldn't be an issue anyway) and brother (amount is over threshold so will be an issue). They both are resident in zero inheritance tax jurisdiction whilst I would be resident in Ireland. Neither have any Irish connections at all. Would I be required to pay?

If I died would my brother have to pay Irish inheritance tax on my estate if he continued to live in the no tax jurisdiction?

    Many thanks
