    Hi guys,

I have/had(Bank are repossessing it) a rental property and had an accountant file returns for every year that I received rent on it. I received no rent last year can I just submit my own return now and save the few hundred or do I need to close anything off in respect to the rental?

    Thanks,
    tnegun

You could have always submitted your own return, there is no obligation to have an agent do it on your behalf.

If you have been registered as self assessed, fill out a TRCN 1 form, to cancel this registration, and give the reason that the rental property is no longer yours.
