    hello,

every time we turn on the dishwasher, after about 90% of the cycle the switch trips. 3 things to note:

    1. if we leave the switch tripped for about 90 mins the power comes back on no problem.

    2. if we flick it back into the on position straight away, the switch will trip again after 2-5 mins. this will continue unless we leave switch tripped for about 90 mins.

    3. if we plug out dishwasher we can turn the switch on again no problem.

just trying to figure out what is wrong before calling in electrician. i also changed fuse in dishwasher plug - with correct amp.

    thanks

Most likely there is a problem with the dishwasher due to a water leak.

Most likely the dishwasher has an internal leak related fault.
This would be best resolved by an appliance repair company.

Once the water causing the fault evaporates or drains away (this seems to take about 90 minutes) the fault is gone so the device stops tripping.

Most electrical contractors would only deal with the wiring installation (not the appliance).
