    Hi

Picked up a 2005 ford Fiesta, But the Cigar Lighter doesnt seem to work.

i've check the fuse, but it seems to be ok.

CAn anyone recomend someone in South dublin who could take a quick look? I'd Say the unit itself may need to be replaced

Any local mechanic should be able to determine what the issue is.
You can probably buy a new unit on ebay or a local breakers

There could be 2 fuses, some cars will have one in the car itself around the drivers area and another in the engine fusebox. Also try replacing the fuse that looks ok with another working one.

Have a look inside the lighter tunnel, shine a bit of light from a torch into it. There could be something there.

It's quite common for the 12v contact point to get covered in crap and break contact. Get a small screwdriver and scrape the point in the middle with the battery disconnected.
