Circumstantial Question on JSA

I am soon to return to Ireland after spending a year abroad. Before leaving Ireland I worked for two and a half years. Prior to finding this job I had applied for Job seekers allowance but did not qualify once means tested due to my parents income. Obviously once I return to Ireland I will be seeking employment but my question is this, will I need to seek rented accommodation to qualify for JSB or JSA? I had planned to move back in with my parents but soon realised that I would not be entitled to any job seekers allowance. I am 23 so I am not at the required age to claim while living at home. I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this topic for me.
