This is an Indepth article on what the apple iCar may be ,

Sounds like autonomous driving is well on the way with experts from all parts of various industries being poached and pulled together , and a 1957 Fiat multipla as possible automotive inspiration!

Pretty terrible article. It's just a collective history of the various rumours, hires with no real analysis or narrative. Half way through it just kinda mentions Bob Mansfield taking over as head of the project. The guy that's rumoured to believe the car project is unworkable at the moment and that they should concentrate on software for other manufacturers. That'd be the hook for a competent journalist, instead of that meandering mess.

I think they sell them tax free. (That is they do not pay tax - however you do!)

Very hard to get excited about his, and I think Apple is a company in decline with innovation very thin on the ground. Then again when the iPad was launched I never thought it would it would take off. Who knew?
