    Hi,

    Have a problem with a 2002 Peugeot 307
Both dipped lights fail to come on. (dash indicates they should be on)

Side lights and High beams are ok.
I've checked all fuses, all ok too.
Had a set of spare bulbs, no joy after replacing. (originals looked ok but just to rule them out)

    Any ideas?

From looking up the 307 online the relays are built into the fuse box under the bonnet so not obvious to me how else to troubleshoot this one.

Turn on the ignition and go to the fusebox under the bonnet. Have someone turn on the dipped beam and listen for a click from the fusebox. If you can hear it then the dipped beam relay is working correctly.

    I'll try that, thanks.
Should there be separate relays for each light beam? There is a definite click when I turn on the side lights alright.

I looked at the wiring diagram and there is definitely a single dedicated relay just for the dipped beam.

The comms unit (The unit that sits behind the steering wheel holding the switches). Really common fault on these and not cheap

So I *should be hearing at least two clicks from the relays?
DO you have a link to that wiring diagram too? The ones I've found so far are terrible.
    Thanks!

Yeah I've read that researching this issue. It might come to it, I hope not!
    Thanks too.
