So, the father of the bride had a heart attack and then turned into a zombie about 20 seconds later. This is not long after the outbreak, season 1 in TWD time.

In season 1 of TWD it was taking much longer for people to turn into zombies. A really careless inconsistency? Or is there any logic that explains this?
I really want to like this show but the quality is below par, and they could do so much better.

True, white apples, that thing with the father of the bride was more like something out of Z-Nation where they just die and "insta-zomb".
I am finding it very hard to give a hoot about any of the characters at the moment. Everything just feels kinda forced or pointless.

The most of the characters need to stop getting needlessly into stupid life-threatening situations: stuck in bathrooms, balconies, cellars, stables which they themselves lit on fire, roofs with no way down, middle of a herd that some gang banger is firing into with automatic weapons (and still pretending to be a corpse), behind (surrounded) hotel bar counters, getting involved with Nina Blanca cults (and stirring the pot with the pendejos at the mall where the cult get essentials like bottled water), getting plastered drunk while zombies amass 15 feet away on the other side of a sheet of glass, etc., etc.

And some of them need to stop killing innocent people for no reason - look at the flowers, Chrissy, look at the flowers. BANG! ... Actually at this stage I don't think I'd mind seeing Chris get a good snogging from Lucille.

Scene of the episode for me, Travis smashes the car window, then without unlocking the door from the inside, grabs the handle and it magically opens! :pac:

Ha ha. Classic! Do they even watch this show anymore before broadcasting the final cut?

    wheres Ofelia

We don't know yet, presumably still in the hotel somwhere. She seems to be at a breaking point now and was contemplating suicide.

I have to say, I do like the hotel setting for a zombie apocalypse.
