Ready for more than hookup

I'm now single for over 6 months and initially I was quite happy online dating with the occasional hookups. Now I am ready for more especially after making the big move to Dublin. Thing is, online dating sites really are just full of guys looking to hookup even when you say from the start you are not interested.

Anyone know of any sites that are better for finding relationships?

This always makes me think WTF.
Do people like the idea of a relationship more than the person they're about to meet? I will admit I'm emotionally broken but surely meet a guy/girl you have fun with, you enjoy being with and go from there??
Looking for a relationship from the get go seems very intense and might attract other people looking for the same that you don't really have much else in common with. Find a person, not a status

    Threads like these are greasy.

Maybe my wording is wrong. It just seems that anyone I've chatted to just wants a quick bit of fun and move on. This doesn't really interest me. Obviously a relationship can only develop over time.

Sorry OP, we've had a thread on this topic recently that was shut down so we can't have something similar.

But the good news is that there is an online dating forum on boards. Follow the info at the following link for details:
