We are a busy gigging band who are rebranding currently to be a more fulltime wedding outfit. Below is a link to our current setup. We originally setup to be an alternative wedding band, and intend to keep that option available to prospective clients, but we are also currently looking at setting up a website etc, recording new showreel video etc and would like a keyboard player to give us the ability to open up our repetoire. Reliability an absolute must.

We are based in Dublin, but travel throughout Ireland for weddings.

    Hey!

Playing keys 11 years now. There's nothing I can't play - as of yet anyways!

I've played in a pop band, played to crowds of 200 to 1500 as a guest act a few times but it fell apart due to commitment issues with other members. But I learned how to keep the keys tight with the rest of the band from that experience and I think I'll be an asset to ye.

I'm 21 and just moved to Dublin last month and I'm looking for the likes of a good wedding band to join! I hope I'd be a good fit. You're youtube stuff is great btw.

I'm happy to go to a practice or two anyways to get to know me or however you hope to audition people, whatever way is fine.

    Daniel

Hi Daniel. Thanks for your response. Would you have a video or audio link to you playing by any chance?

If you search for Barcelona Jazz Daniel O'Loughlin, you'll find a piano instrumental I wrote. I don't have anything else really online to show you. I'll record myself playing a few relevant kind of songs tonight or tomorrow and send it on

Sounds good Daniel. Obviously with a wedding band, there can be such a big selection of styles, one minute it could be The Doors - Light My Fire, the next, it could be Thats Life - Frank Sinatra, the next Sweet Home Alabama etc etc. Would you be confident that you would be able for such a repetoire? Also, have you got your own gear and transport? I would also reiterate, that reliability would be essential. We would be dealing with peoples weddings, so its extremely important that we would not let anybody down.
    Cheers.

Yes, very confident. I'm happy to work with a mix of genres.

I have the keys, stand and pedal. I don't have my own speakers though.

Unfortunately I don't have my own mode of transport. I also work full time Monday-Friday but I'm more than willing to take days off if I can't make a gig in time. But Monday to Sunday, I'd always be willing to play.

If a date is scheduled for a wedding, 110% guarantee I'll be reliable to make it. I wouldn't see it as an option to not make it to be honest!

Not having my own car/speaker might be a dealbreaker and I fully understand if it is.
