Played Castletroy for this first time at the end of May, most enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate in giving it a recommendation ⛳️��.

Played Castletroy last Wednesday, well impressed with the place.

Don't get the Newcastle West love though.

I'd steer clear of the mitchelstown mallow route. Pain in the hole getting caught behind grain trailers and lorries and whatnot.

just remember, wherever you play, you probably want to be teeing off by probably about 2:30 at the latest. If you get a sunny day, it might stay bright till about 7, but even then it gets hard to see the ball! If you get a cloudy day...... you probably want to be playing an hour earlier

Problem solved, they are flying directly to Kerry. By the time I pick them up @4pm drive 30 mins to Killarney and play 9 holes either in Killarny G&F Club or in Beaufort.
