Wireless control of Electric Water Heating Only ??

Hi. Looking for some advice please. Own a 2bed apartment which has electric storage heating and electric water heating installed. I currently have a Horstmann digital timer (Horstmann Electronic 7) on the wall which controls the water heating on / off times. My understanding is the hot tank has two elements in it, one which is for normal (overnight) water heating and the second element which allows for "Boost" heating of only a small portion of the water in the tank to be heated for when you need water heated in a rush.

My question is this....is there any product on the market with which I can replace the current Horstmann Water Timer switch and will allow me to control my water tank heating through a panel on the wall in my home and also remotely through a wireless setup so that I can switch it on / off as required either from an App or my PC in the office. If such a product is available can someone tell me where it can be purchased from, what sort of setup is needed and how difficult is it to install.

I've searched online a lot and many systems such as Nest, Hive etc do deal with water heating but as far as I can determine these are all built for gas or oil powered heating systems and control the room heating & water heating simultaneously.

All I want is a set-up that will just control my water heating that allows me to setup a programme of timed heating periods and switch it on / off remotely as needs be (e.g if my plans change and I end up getting home later than planned, or have been away for a few days and want to have hot water when I get home)

I presume any system available will inevitably involve some changes to wiring etc and won't be a straight forward job of just removing the Horstmann front panel and swapping it for a new model.

2 of these or similar and an electrician to fit them and you should be good to go.

Are these not underpowered? Max load around 2kw. Average immersion is 3kw. Or am I reading the description wrong?

Plenty of 2kW immersions about but easy to add a 20A NO contactor for about €15 if required.

Did you have any luck with this? I have the same issue.
