I finished serving my time and have gone into contracting as a fitter/welder but things are getting slack here in Ireland. I have sent email after email to companies i hear have work but no replies. I am wondering would anyone know of recruitment agencies or any work home or abroad. I am considering emigrating but hear that Canada isnt really booming anymore. But there is work in Oz. If anyone would have a heads up on looking into work in these places and what way to go about it be appriciated cheers.

New Zealand has welding and fitting as a specialist need, they want your skills basically !!!!

In Ireland, many engineering companies and pharma companies use welders and fitters, power stations would also. Try big companies such as bord na mona, Enercon, dublin bay power, Alstom

I can give you some off-air if you wish.
