My girlfriend is Cabin crew and loves all types of planes. Her biggest love is the Virgin Atlantic 747

Is there anywhere in the world to view a 747 on full display?

Being a training pilot myself I'd love to see one up close and personal

There is a KLM 747 on display at the Dutch Aviation Aviodrome Museum at Lelystad.
Worth a trip and can be done on a day trip from Dublin!

There is also an early model 747 on display in Le Bourget Air and Space Museum in Paris.

Forgot about that one,it is faster to access by public transport than Lelystad too.Bus from CDG,Lelystad involves train from AMS then bus.
Both locations are excellent.

Funny this thread popped up! Going to open one to ask when the next 747 in any Irish airports. Was in Shannon for a looks a few mts back and a 747 cargo landed, nice surprise.
