Any help on this topic would be appreciated, all information online seems to be limited.

I suffer from bad hips that can cause serious lower back pain. This used to be chronic but 2 years of gym work and training have improved it immensely, the last couple of weeks have been the best I felt in years, unfortunately my back pain came back last week with intense pain a couple of days later I came down with a flu like virus, this has more or less.passed but I still have back pain I'm hoping this too will pass, haven't gone back training yet that may help.

Anyone have previous experience with anything like this, I'd be great full for any information. Cheers
    Jamie

I have Fevers of Unknown Origins - and I had a really bad episode this year, I felt like I had a flu coming on which turned into a fever flu mix of rubbish.

However I had sudden and severe back pain, unable to walk and had to be rushed to hospital, tests all came back negative and after the fever was under control the sharp pain was gone - I had the flu for a week but had back pain since.
But I have pre-existing back problems as it is from years ago so not never went to see any one for a follow up.

I don't know what information you are looking for, could a doctor help you out?

Thanks for your reply, just a bit worried the pain won't recede, I've put a lot of time into training to try and address the pain issue which seems to have worked! My worst fear is ill be back to square one.

Went to see the doctor today, didn't feel confident with her diagnosis but I never do when it comes to back pain, was subcribed strong painkillers and anti inflammatory tablets, hopefully this will help and ill be back to where I was before this started
