You have your work cut out for you paully, only two weekends between now and New Years without a UFC event

Barnett is crafty enough to avoid the big right hand I think. Arlovski is a completely one handed fighter, Barnett will probably work him on the fence for a while and may be able to take him down later in the fight and finish him.

An early card on live is ideal.

A big fan of Gus, hopefully he'll put on a dominant performance. Though to be honest I'm not too familiar with Blachowicz. Will he be a tough challenge?

Going for a nice catch wrestling ground choke, decent card hopefully Latifi will get a nice KO win.

7/5 for Arlovski outright looks a really good price. He's certainly capable of a finish.
I'd be mightily tempted to have a punt on that.

    Anyone going over to this?

Not me unfortunately. No decent flight path from Malta so skipped it in the hopes of another European card and got lucky with 204 :)

Is the sound on UFC Fight Pass really raspy and crackly for anyone else?

    EDIT: They've sorted it.

Was just about to post about it. Thought my iPad was dying. All good now anyway.

This is a terrible terrible fight.

Poor fight. I had it 29-29 on my card.

Don't see how one of the judges gave the 1st to Khabilov

30-27 for Khabilov is an early indicator that we're all set for another shíte judging session.

Hardy (I think) said it was a close round but it wasn't really. Damage was done by silva and that's what counts

Think that judge was a bit too impressed by the sweep at the end of the first round and forgot about the rest of it. Only explanation I can come up with and it was still a bit mind-boggling.

    Barnett via Decision
Askhams fans bringing the class, just like they did in Dublin.

I say the Germans are loving having them over.

I'm worried Manchester will be full of them kind of fans.

What a great close quarters fight that was. Some great boxing in the clinch and some great stuff on the ground.

I have it 30-27 Hermansson on my card anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,624 ✭✭✭Dancor

Did Askham just blank him there and not congratulate him?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,750 ✭✭✭ASOT

Cant wait until the new rules come in so that would have been legal

That was a harsh point deduction?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Danho's game plan... Throw big, drive forward.

    Repeat.

People complain about the flyweight division but the heavy weight division has to be one of my least favourite

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

This is one of the worst MMA fights I've ever seen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,624 ✭✭✭Dancor

Jesus's christ this fight feels like it's going on forever. I genuinely thought that was 3 rounds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,518 ✭✭✭tinpib

After the sound problems earlier my video has now slowed to approx 80% normal speed, oh no wait, they are giant heavyweights :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,750 ✭✭✭ASOT

Shocking fight they should both get the L

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

That was the the longest 15 minutes ever. Christ almighty. 28-28 on my card.

Poor from Issa. Showing that he looks a one trick pony and that trick isn't working and he's paying for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    30-27 Lapilus.

    Dreadful fights. Absolute shíte.

EDIT: One judge gave Issa a round. What????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,505 ✭✭✭but1er

Lapis get him on Belfast or Manchester..

    Awful card so far

Anyone else think Ashley Evans-Smith has a look of John Terry?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Macedo is tough but so very raw. Big test for her in that fight but Evans-Smith's elbows... vicious as hell.

    No.

Yikes. That is a very nasty gash under Veronica's eye.

Sucks for Macedo that there's no flyweight class in UFC for women. She just looked too small there.

Give her Rin Nakai next. :pac:

Dalby needs to pull out his wonder 3rd round as usual to try save the fight.
