    Hi All,

Essentially I'd like to be able to move the virgin media physical handset to another more central room in the house away from where the VM Router is, if I use home plugs would that be possible?

No, homeplugs are for ethernet extension, not telephone.

True but doesn't that phones cradle hook into the back of the modem via an ethernet cable?

If the handset you have plugged into the router is a DECT one, just buy another DECT handset from anywhere you like and pair it to the existing base station.

If VMI shared SIP credentials this would be easy to achieve. As they don't, a DECT handset + additional charging cradles will work fine unless you've a mansion or stone castle.
