uneven sowing?

I put in a few acres of tyfon half the field is coming on ok the other half is extremely poor ,it looks bare looking at it from a distance. The tyfon will be in four weeks come Friday it got 3.3bags of 101020 to the acre and was limed. Should I ring the contracter and say it to him ? I don't want to cause any hassle but this is a lot of money going down the drain if this doesn't take off? I can't get a picture up atm but will try tomorrow

I would definitely ring the contractor and ask him to call around and take a look at it with you. As you said you don't want money going down the drain and as its early it might be rectified before it's too late

Could be leather jackets? Which side did he start at, it's possible they ran out of seed?
