Can anyone explain to me the differences in the models of the LR Discovery, are they major differences or just slight tweeks and if so what are they ?
I'll list below what models I know of, which one would be the best to be looking out for, it seems some are going quite cheaper than others and I'm wondering what the difference is in them exactly, they vary with the spec inside like touch screen monitor, sat nav, heated seats etc etc

    XE
    Se
    Se Tech
    HSE
    HSE LUXURY
    Graphite

XE - base spec, standard radio, standard suspension, the lowest end electric front seats, almost no rear seat amenities.

Se - this is now the base spec, used to be called the XS which was XE with nav, better audio and some bits like lumbar support seats etc..

Se Tech - a uk variant with full satnav and a few other bits.

HSE - gets navigation as standard, the harmon kardon sound system , terrain response, rear heated seats and some of the other tech options.

HSE LUXURY - top end spec, has almost every option , rear entertainment , towbar and a few visual touches are all thats left out

Graphite - special edition , mostly cosmetic changes, would double check the spec you want is on it as they can vary in options.

if your buying new , buy the most spec you can afford, it'll be nice to sit in, and come resale time it helps.

if your buying second hand try your best to find a HSE or HSE luxury , an awful lot of useful and some just nice to have toys, the XE and HSE are completely different vehicles to be in in my eyes, the leather is even a softer kinds.
