    A single furrow plough.:D
No seriously it is a plough but what it was used for i'm not sure.
Maybe it was used for ridging out drainage ditches or deep ploughing.
It was bought in co.clare in the 1960's and even the owner now is looking for information on it.

No there is a turning board on it.
Not an expert on the terminology of ploughs.
A board on the top of it to turn the sod.

Hills anywhere really. That's what it's made for.
The are a good looking tractor though.
Maybe some of the knowledgable diesel heads here will know about them.
    Perkins engine and vario gearbox.

Steering rear axle would be serious handy in a tight yard but 140k??? Must be serious money to be made on those mountain slopes!!

when bord na mona were experimenting at putting the bog back into grass after years of harvesting peat they ploughed it with something like that in an effort to stop the land cracking, must have been ploughing half metre deep.

Nearly identical to steyr, made only 10 miles from the steyr factory, seriously well speced but pricey

The plough was bought in Newmarket on Fergus in the early 60's.
A man drove a Major from Tory hill(34 feet too short to be a mountain)
overlooking Waterford town to Co Clare to collect it.It was pulled by a dozer
to reclaim heavy ground.I had a good chat with the owner.
    Thank you Pedigree,great pictures.

Linder is €80k plus VAT. A serious machine to drive. Very close to buying 1 but the electrics and sensors stopped me

Local garage has one available for demo, gave it to a hedge cutting contrator who brought the arm of the hedge cutter down on the cab of the tractor when he was folding it in behind....cruuuuunch
