Roof size is 8.16 m sq.

Quoted around €650 ex VAT to cover the roof with Soprema roof covering.

Also €340 ex VAT to install new lead flashing along the edge (4 m sq).

    Sound about right? Thanks

Presume the system you mean is the single layer pvc Soprema system. Then 105/m Sq should be about right €859 ex vat. Including facia soffit etc. So sounds about right

However if it's the twin layer felt Soprema system that should be
79/m Sq ..... € 650 ex all the facia etc included
    Hope it helps!

It's the shiny metallic stuff, is that the PVC one?

The shiny metallic one I'm guessing is vieo zinc and that runs at a price of 145 /m Sq
    All prices are ex vat
The cheaper one is a double layer felt system

Hmm sounds like I'm getting a very good deal so. The guy is doing a separate insurance job for me so possibly giving me a discounted rate.

Regarding doing the roofing job, how many days of dry weather would be required before/after the job is done (so I can schedule in the work)?

I take it the work can be done year-round?

So, how many dry days do I need to get this work done in?

Depends on your fitter but should be done in 2 days max

Hi all, just on this I've been given two options:

    - 2mm IKO underlay + 4mm IKO Black Imperial mineral torch on falt cap sheet
    (http://www.iko.ie/iko-distribution/flat-roofing/torch-on-cap-sheets/imperial-black-cap-sheet-10m/)

    OR

    - Soprema membrane
    (http://www.soprema.ie/)

I'm considering the first one, but does it really make much of a difference which one I go for? Is the IKO stuff good with the mineral finish?
