    Anyone got one buried in the kit bag that they want to move on? I'd say to a good home but I lost my old one.

    Yeah probably don't "need" one. However, I like to use one occasionally when swimming solo to break it up a bit. No harm in a bit of beat the beeper and pacing target times etc...

    he "needed" one last year ( i guess it was me who recommended it ) but he learned very quickly, and now has one of the most beautyfully fluid strokes I see.
