Pulling feeling driving Opel Corsa

I have a 2014 Opel Corsa where I've recently started to experience a pulling feeling, its most noticeable while accelerating heavily, once the car reaches cruising speed it doesn't happen at all. It feels like the handbrake is slightly on. It also happens when the car is in neutral with the handbrake on.

The car was recently serviced and had the break pads done, it was very soon after getting the pads done I started noticing the issue, though I'm sure this is just coincidence. The car was parked up for the last 2 weeks, it was much worse when I drove it again than it was before.

    Any ideas?

    Could it be sparkplugs misfiring?

Definitely sounds a possibility, though I would have expected a full service to have spotted something like this.

must be connected to that then, go back and tell them

btw - was the car parked on a slope? in gear with the handbrake on?

No it was left in the Quick Park at the airport so the surface was pretty flat and it was left in neutral.

I should have mentioned the car is generally parked in our drive which is a fairly severe slope and left in 2nd gear.

The engine warning light has just come on, its showing a solid amber now. I won't be able to get to a garage until mid next week so am worried if the car is ok to drive in the meantime

It's impossible to tell as your description is far too vague. Get it to a garage as soon as possible. Personally I wouldn't drive it with a warning light on

Could be a slight missfire but i would get it plugged in with some one who has Diagnostics to see why your engine management light is on more than likely it will tell you the cause of your problem
