I'm currently 20 years old and it has been over 8-10 years since I last played Club Gaelic football but lately this has been a urge in me wanting to get back into playing it. Seeing as its been some time since I last played Club football I'll feel as Ill be at a major idsadvange. I'm not worried about being a sub and all but was wondering is there any adult teams in Wexford that would be happy to take on a close enough to new player? Thanks.

I'm 17 and I play for St. James. I wasn't allowed under the new age rules to play adult this year but was invited up to train with the seniors anyway. Great lads who don't care how good/bad you are as long as you give it absolutely everything you have every Time. I was stone cold usless at the start of the year but saw a real improvement as the year went on.

Wexford is fairly big, is there some area you are living in with teams in it? There are plenty of lads playing junior for donkeys years who are still useless so dont be fearing that. Most junior teams are just about having a bit of craic and playing a few games. I would be surprised if any team had an issue taking on a new player who may not have much experience.
