    Yesterday I opened a very stubborn, rusty, corners rounded off nut and bolt on my plough with a chisel and hammer, but you didn't really want to know that.

    Try running a sharp knife around the caseback, have a look with a magnifying glass for a small groove first.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    No offence OP, but if you cannot figure out how to open the watch you have very little chance of fixing the problem.
    Bring it to a watch fixer and save yourself a lot of hassle!

    Thanks for most of the replies, they were helpful. Will be bringing it to a Jewelers on Friday. I have looked at and tried various methods of opening it. I will let you know what I find out.
