Having a problem with Led strip lighting i installed under counter in my kitchen. When i hit the switch they flash for a second and turn off immediately. When i connected a 12v battery they light up straight away with no issue. Have 230v entering the Traffo and 12v coming out the other end.

The traffo is rated for 20-60W and as i only have a 1.5 Meters up and the strip is rated at 7.2w/m i don't think the traffo can supply that low wattage. Anyone point me to a Low voltage traffo that can? thanks in advance

Is it a specific trafo designed for led lights. If not then you will require one

Is it an AC traffo or a DC switched mode power supply?

Internet router PSU will probably work.
