Best 200 euro phone

So I have had the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 for a year now always worked fine but lately having serious issues with the phone in terms of battery and lag. Going to replace it but wondering what is currently the best phone around the 200 euro mark. I know the moto g4 is getting great reviews, but I am a bit wary as the girlfriend owns a moto g3 and has had nothing but problems with it, albeit the 8GB version. Basically what would you recommend as the best bang for my buck?

Wow hadn't heard of that one before, very impressive specs for that money. I guess Amazon is the only place to buy this.

I have a v similar thread a few moments ago but this one already has recommendations so I'm adding to this.
I'm looking for a phone for my wife, under €200, someone recommended this-
    Someone recommended http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-3

    It's €147,
64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa Core 1.8GHz, GPU: Adreno 510
    5.5 inch
    3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM.
Support extended storage card up to 128GB.
5.0MP front camera, 16.0MP back camera

Personally, I don't know if it any better than any recommended above, others may be able to comment.
    cheers,
    Pa.

I like this. Decent price too. I need to get an invite to be able to buy these phones though correct?

I just ordered this one based on some of the recommendations in the 'Chinese Android phones' thread

    http://www.banggood.com/Ulefone-Future-5_5-Inch-4GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-MT6755-1_95GHz-64bit-Octa-core-4G-Smartphone-p-1048917.html

Is it risky buying these Chinese phones or do people find them good quality. I would have no problem spending the money on one just want to make sure it doesn't lock up on me in 6 months time.

+1 for the OnePlus X for an extra 40e you can have a very decent phone.

You don't need an invite any more.

    Review.

I like this very much... That's a cracker for the price.

It says in the description that please note this phone is installed with international firmware... What does that mean exactly? Is the supplier installing a custom ROM on it to make it work outside Asia? If so no updates from the xiaomi?

    I was told-
basically the International one is factory installed with google etc by Xiaomi.

The other one is customized by geekbuying before shipping to have the same features. Effectively putting a custom ROM on it
I was told to go for the extra few quid (international one).

Yes I would buy the proper international one so the phone will get OTA's from Xaomi.

Amazon UK seems to be the place to buy it.
It goes on discounted pricing regularly on Amazon DOTD, was as low of £135 recently.

Honor a brand by Huawei, full English ROM, warranty support in EU & guaranteed 24 month Android upgrade path.
Worth the small bit extra over the straight from China phones if you value the above.

Don't touch the moto 4 G. Rubbish. Returned one to amazon after a week lot of issues ..looks and feels cheap. Just got the Honor 5X the other day. Lovely phone. Got the gold one. No complaints so far ..lots of little extras on it ...one plus are OK ..provided you don't get issues with it....just retuned young Lads one ...6 months old ..fingerprint scanner stopped working ...after sales ..rubbish ..brutal to deal with.

I am leaning towards this I must say. Only thing is would oneplus X be of better quality in the long run. Do these cheaper phones tend to only last a year and have to be replaced or are they reliable.

I have the one plus one which is a great phone. I have been using the xiami MI4C for the past 2 months and love it (have it back as it was a lend just to try it out as a work phone)
    Snapdragon 808
5inch screen is absolutely perfect size.
    Side control, slim, great camera

Definitely better than the redmi and nicer in my opinion. Has varying specs from 2/3gb ram to 16/32 GB storage.

    It's a cracker of a phone.
Order from gizchina and use the European warehouse to avoid customs

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I'm also in a similar boat. I've looked at the suggestions but I'm not that familiar with phones. I'd like a good battery, camera and just general good specs. Ideally I'd love a Samsung but I'm not sure what the A6/J3 etc phones are like. I've also seen the Oneplus, are all 3 (x, 2, 3) good phones? I see they don't have removable batteries which I think I would prefer. I'm not sure if I should go for a lower budget phone of around €200-€300 or go for one around €400. I also looked into HTC. I like having a middle button instead of full touch screen if you get me! Thanks for any advice :)

Redmi Note 4 was announced yesterday. Think it's around 140 euro preorder on oppomart. Got my old lad a redmi 2 or 3 from here. Two weeks delivery and no vat/customs for 18 euro.

Very straight forward and no issues with the phone.

Just ordered the xiaomi redmi note 4, can't wait to get it. Used geekbuying.com as it had free shipping (you just have to wait a bit longer for it which I don't mind). looked up reviews and that site seems grand! Here's hoping :)
Got the 16gb one, Kind of wish they had a 32gb one, 64gb is way too much for me! I had a 16bg samsung phone previously with a 16gb sd card and did me rightly never had issues with space so am hoping this one will be the same.. anything is better than the sony m4 aqua p.o.s I have now!! :)

Order from HK Goldway or Top One and use their EU shipping option and you should have it in a week or two.
