    Hi all
Just wondering how long does it usually take to get a date for the fitness test?

    Thanks

My understanding is that there aren't the big numbers of applicants for the Reserves.
So fitness tests happen when there are enough applicants in an area to justify organizing one.

In an area where there is a bigger population e.g. Dublin, Cork etc. the numbers needed happen quicker
    than smaller places.

Also supposing you applied on the 1st January for the Reserves
and someone else applied on 1st March
and they had their numbers then on 7th March

You would be waiting eight weeks for a date
and the other person would only be waiting a week or two for a date.
    It seems to vary.
Though I am open to correction.
