    Hi guys,
Ok so I don't know where to start really!! I was off for about six weeks and assumed that I was paid for these six weeks as I got paid a full wage during my time off but today I check my balance and I was paid less than half a wage!! Now I take it work are gonna get back to me and tell me I wasn't paid while off etc etc and how I should have known this!! Even though they made me permanent and all permanent staff get sick pay!!

Can I get this backdated by social welfare and if so how long does it roughly take?? I'm in a bit of a panic as the amount they paid just covers my direct debits and leaves me with nothing!! Also should my work have informed me of the process so I would have done this back in June??

    Thanks

Go and talk to your gp,they will have to fill in various forms.
As for what your job should have done, you need to read your contract.
