A penalty rate would be applied for 21 days and then failure to comply may result in a 9 week cut off. People on rent supplement continue to receive that payment during the cut off and also cash payments for children. It is reviewed at the end of the 9 weeks but reinstatement depends on willingness to comply with whatever opportunities are offered.

Can you not talk with them about your present circumstances, why it is driving you nuts etc? Can you find any other option yourself which you would be happier with such as back to education/VTOS course/CE scheme or the like?

So if you were cut off for 9 weeks might you be told you had to go back on Jobpath at the end of the 9 weeks? Are you allowed to apply for Vtos,CE, Back to Ed while on Jobpath? I got the impression that you weren't,that you had to stay on it 12mths?

Yes, they do want you to finish the full year on Jobpath but if you are finding it to be not right for you then you should tell the support person who should be meeting with you every 15 or 20 days.

Should it go so far as you to be put on a reduced payment and then cut off for the 9 weeks then surely they would find some alternative to JobPath for you next time. The main thing now is for you to tell them how things are for you. If they won't let you off JobPath to do something else, then at least ask them to explore the possiblity that you can be referred for education and training during the Jobpath 12 months. Research education and training that you'd be interested in and go with documentation about that.

    JobPath Services for Jobseekers
Participants on JobPath will receive intensive individual support to help them address barriers to employment and to assist them in finding jobs. They will spend a year on JobPath and if they are placed into a job they may continue to receive support for the first year of employment. During their time on JobPath they may also be referred for further education and training opportunities.

I just started it this week so I'm kind of curious about what it's going to actually be like, I had my first meeting in there today and I have to go back in on Friday.

Why is it driving you mad?

    What's so bad about it?

Pfff a laughable club and doing almost nothing for u
live a three hours away from their office and was permitted to show up once a month , had to do 6 job interviews a month (fools) got a list of jobs with me I had to apply for but were way to high at the qualifications I had
Have not much schooling but loads of experience
He said about the 6 references I have they are to good to be true , leave them with us and we will make some changes at them so it will look a bit more believable
Same he wanted to do with my CV changing it so it would be better looking to get quickly a job
    Short saying downgrade the lot
luckily I had given the moron copies of them and not the original ones

    Getting of the list
while I was on Seetec I did also Tus
Didn't told TuS about seetec and didn't told Seetec about TUS so I did both in one year because people told me after a year on seetec still no job you don't have to go back to them
At the end of the Seetec year I stayed away from them , now7 weeks ago and nothing heard of them or SW since
Over Three weeks going on CE
