Italy U21 are 8/11 to beat Denmark tomorrow.

Apparently the Denmark squad have been hit with a stomach virus. They're all being kept in single rooms, and only 2 players trained yesterday as a result. Danish press calling it "chaos". They can't call up any replacements either of course, with it being a tournament squad.

Normally I go on autopilot with Portugal and look to team corners, however this time I think there is a good bet in Ronaldo to be shown a card. It's coming out in the news this week that he's going to be investigated for €14 million worth of tax dodging by the Spanish authorities. Rumours have also surfaced this morning that he wants to quit Madrid as a result (as they say 'paper doesn't refuse ink' and newspapers need to be sold)

Hoping the off-field pressure translates to the pitch again this weekend. I think that a Latino tempered team like Mexico should help nicely with the card count. At those odds, I'll take him for a booking in the following match too if this one loses.

The Danish FA have scheduled a press release for 4.15pm our time. I wonder is the game being postponed?

Edit: Only 2 players held back from training today apparently. Although you'll have to take their word on that one. Still, not ideal preparation!

I know this isn't football in the Irish sense but Origin footy is on this morning - Queensland lost the opening game but they have really strengthened their team bringing in 7 players - 2 of which are arguably the best the world - Johnathan Thurstan and Billy Slater - Also Coen Hess has been on fire for the Cowboys all season - he is try scoring machine - so Queensland look good value to win at 7/5 and Coen Hess any time try scorer is 4/1 - this is my first tip on here so please go easy if you don't like it - thanks

Edit Result - 1 from 2 - Queensland wone in the dying minutes of the game - a try by Gagai and a conversion by Johnathan Thruston - Hess didn't score - to be honest he didn't get enough game time on his debut.

I got Queensland +9.5 at halftime, they were 5/1 to mount a comeback...I regret not taking the bigger risk and instead blowing my money on the Royal Ascot.

Did you make any money off the Queensland game? I took them again at half time for 5/1 - regret not having a bit more faith and backing them again towards the end.
